Pre-K Program

The 2019-2020 school year will be the 19th year for the Pre-K program at Dolley Madison Preschool. The program is a continuation of the warm, nurturing atmosphere that has been a Dolley Madison tradition. It is designed for students who have completed a four-year old class and would benefit from an additional year before entering Kindergarten, for a continued emphasis on:

Social & Emotional Development

Fine & Gross Motor Skills

Intellectual & Language Development

Approaching Pre-Reading Both Visually & Phonetically

Math and Science Readiness

The program is offered four full days (Mon-Th from 9-3 pm) and a half day on Friday (9-12 pm). Completion of a four year program is required for Pre-K. Placement in this program is also contingent on teacher recommendation.
